Today is my Birthday!
Another year, getting older,
A quarter century + 1
How exciting...
But I am so glad and elated to see my 26th birthday! Some folks did not get to see 26 so I am blessed to be in the land of the living!
This is day 1 of my 26th year and I really want to make this year count!
It's time to grow up and ADULT! although I have been adulting for quite some time I think I need to kick it up a knotch!
This picture above doesn't really portray my attempts at adulting very well. But this is what adulting looks like to me. =P
God has been dealing with me on so much and it has been a very challenging journey but his grace is sufficient.
26 is a weird age! only because I feel like I should have my stuff together but then when I talk to other 26 year olds, most of them are on the same page.
I have an idea of where I want to go, what I want to do, but I just don't know how to get there.
Thank God Jesus has all this planned out! lol.
Trusting him is the struggle but I know he is able and that he has not failed me!
26 will be a blessed year! I will just expect it to be.
Of course I am afraid of what is ahead but I choose to operate out of Identity than fear.
After living and operating in fear for most of your life, you start to look around and see how unfruitful fear can be.
This journey of knowing my identity in Christ is beautiful and this is not some constructed identity that religion set up for me.
nah.
But it is purposed identity. My identity is purpose filled and driven by the love of Christ.
So 26...
I'm ready.
